By the completion of the course, the students will have reached the following objectives which are broken down into 6 sessions:

1. Session 1: Introduction to health and safety and health and safety law.
2. Session 2: Health and welfare
3. Session 3: Safety
4. Session 4: The workplace and work equipment
5. Session 5: Risk assessment manual handling and hazardous substances
6. Session 6: Ergonomics working at height, transport and noise and vibration
